who answers?
Honest answer: no doctor has reviewed these answers yet. Every one says Review pending until one has.
What we do now
Each answer is written from a public source, such as the HSE, gov.ie, Citizens Information or Samaritans. The source is named under the answer, with the date we checked it. Online GP fees come from each provider’s own website and are listed in full on gpcompare.ie.
We tell you where to go and what it costs. We don’t tell you what is wrong, and we can’t answer personal health questions. If you’re worried, see a pharmacist or a GP.
When a GP signs on
A GP registered with the Irish Medical Council will read each answer against its source. A reviewed answer will show the GP’s name, the date they reviewed it and the source. Until that happens, there is no question box on this site, and we won’t put a doctor’s name on anything they haven’t checked.
Who runs askadoc.ie
askadoc.ie is published by John Fox, Ireland, as part of WellNow. It is not a clinic. No provider pays to be listed or to change the order of anything on this site.
